5 lekker icon websites

For websites and other multimedia projects, you often find yourself looking for nice (open source) icons that fit into your projects nicely. Below there are ten of my favourite icon sets, in no particular order:

MySiteMyWay offers a wide variety of icon sets (ranging from social media to animals), all open source and usable on commercial projects as well. With a variety in colours and styles, you are very likely to find a set that fits your website’s style.

Icon Archive is just that, a huge collection of open source and commercial icons to use for your project. Each icon has info on license and usage and can be downloaded in a set our separately.

DeviantArt

DeviantArt is an amazing resource for anyone looking for open source or commercial graphics, including an enormous range of icons.

IconDock

Icondock offers professionally designed stock icons and collections. They also have some very clean free social media icons. http://icondock.com/free/vector-social-media-icons

IconFever
http://www.iconfever.com
IconFever regularly lists new, (open source and commercial) icon sets. IconFever is a good choice for holiday themed bundles like Christmas icons and Halloween icon sets.
